Welcome Teens & Tweens \u2014 <\/strong>this is your space <\/strong>for staying connected with library news, hangouts, volunteer info, activities, and anything else we roll out just for you. From TnT Hangouts and volunteer opportunities to what\u2019s new around the library, everything you need is right here. TnT Hangouts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TnT (previously Teens & Tweens) Hangouts will be back this September, and the best part? They\u2019re now on Saturdays so everyone can join – specific dates and times will be posted in the calendar. Each month will feature the same fun but with the twist of a book\u2011genre theme, and you can even dress to match the vibe to earn extra Library Bucks. First up in September is Realistic Fiction with school\u2011day style \u2014 think \u201cready for back to school.\u201d Future months will include fantasy, mystery, adventure, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rewards Store<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Rewards Store is coming in December \u2014 and yes, there will be plenty of items that you teens will love. Expect things like art supplies<\/strong>, novelty cups<\/strong>, plushies<\/strong>, wireless earbuds<\/strong>, portable speakers<\/strong>, gift cards to local shops<\/strong>, and more. Our first theme is Realistic Fiction<\/strong> with school vibes<\/strong>, and we\u2019re packing the day with activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Lit Reads Mixer<\/strong> \u2014 bring your favorite book and jump into a fun, fast\u2011paced \u201caround\u2011the\u2011room\u201d trivia<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Craft<\/strong> \u2014 decorate your own book bag and bookmark<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dress\u2011Up Bonus<\/strong> \u2014 come dressed in 80s old\u2011school style<\/em> and earn +5 Library Bucks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Library Bucks<\/strong> \u2014 attending the event earns Library Bucks, too!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Old\u2011School Snacks<\/strong> \u2014 juice boxes and classic lunch\u2011box treats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s a high\u2011energy mix of books, games, creativity, and nostalgia \u2014 the perfect Saturday hangout.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
