Kids began earning <strong>Dino Bucks<\/strong> during the Summer Reading Program, and once school begins, all bucks will switch to <strong>Library Bucks<\/strong>. Save your bucks and spend them at our quarterly <strong>Rewards Store<\/strong>, opening for the first time in <strong>December<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ways to Earn Library Bucks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids, tweens, and teens can earn Library Bucks all year long through reading, participating, helping, and engaging with the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reading &amp; Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Returning items on time:<\/strong> 1 Library Buck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attending library events:<\/strong> 2 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library scavenger hunt:<\/strong> 2 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library BINGO:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regular bingo: 2 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blackout: +5 bonus Library Bucks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Task sheets:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each completed task: 1 Library Buck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the entire sheet: +5 bonus Library Bucks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Activity sheets (BINGO, task sheets, scavenger hunts, and more) are available in the <strong>foyer<\/strong> in the hanging folder on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bring a Friend Bonus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All youth ages can earn Library Bucks by bringing a friend who has <strong>never visited the library before<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Regular library visit:<\/strong> 2 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library event:<\/strong> 5 Library Bucks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Personal Donations (Kids Only)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids may earn Library Bucks by donating items <strong>themselves<\/strong> (not parents).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5 Library Bucks per donation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Up to 25 Library Bucks per month<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Extra Ways for Tweens &amp; Teens<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tweens and teens have additional opportunities to earn Library Bucks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Volunteering:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 hour: 1 Library Buck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to 4 hours: 3 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to 6 hours: 5 Library Bucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6+ hours: 7 Library Bucks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Media Interaction (1 buck per day):<\/strong> If they have their own social media, tweens and teens can earn <strong>1 Library Buck per day<\/strong> by interacting with our Facebook page:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check\u2011ins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Likes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shares<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rewards Store<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids can spend their Library Bucks at our <strong>quarterly Rewards Store<\/strong>. The first store will open in <strong>December<\/strong>. <strong>The exact date and time will be announced closer to the opening \u2014 please keep an eye on Facebook and our website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s in the Store?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The store will include a wide variety of prizes such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Indoor and outdoor toys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Games and puzzles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stuffed animals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cups and water bottles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electronics (earbuds, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, lights, and more)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gift cards to local shops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And lots of surprises!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stay Updated<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may announce <strong>additional ways to earn Library Bucks<\/strong> throughout the year.
