HCPL offers food for community members that are in need. Stop by the front desk and fill out a form and give it to an employee and we will be happy to help you. HCPL is able to provide this service to the community from donations/grants from EWCF, CUW and local community members. During the month of November we will be accepting foods for fines. If you have old or new fines just bring in a non-perishable food item. How this works, for every item brought in and given to an employee we will take a $1.00 off of your fines. Fines can be for anything while we run this special event. All items collected will go into our food pantry and given to community members in need.
HCPL will be hosting a Social Studies fair for all homeschool children on November 12 at 10. The students will set up at 10 and the judging will begin at 11. The participants that place will advance to county level. If you have any questions please contact the library at 304-822-3185.
