This is the start to our Summer Reading Program. We will meet Wednesdays morning at 10 am at the pavilion. The program theme is “Unearth a Story,” and we’ll have dinosaurs galore.
This week’s theme is Dino Dig
Safari man will be there to herd our Dino-migo friends – Rexi, Chompi, and Stompi. He will also help our diggers unearth some treasures.
Kids will get to unearth a dino egg then chisel it open to find a dino.
There will be a story and craft.
Kids will get to take home activity and coloring sheets as well as sand buckets.
Kids will earn tickets for attending the events. At the end, they’ll be able to put their tickets into bags for a chance to win a prize – all kids will walk away with some sort of goody at the end of the program.
Teens are welcome and encouraged to attend and/or volunteer – they too will have prizes available at the end geared towards their age group.
